Saturday was Calvin's 8th Birthday! He wanted his party at the skate park. So... even though we had a bizarre cold snap that weekend with rain clouds rolling in on us--we had us a party! The kids were biking and running around so much they didn't notice the weather--until the downpour with about 1/2 hour left of the party. Not to worry, we all hopped into our car and waited out the pelting rain. And after about 5 minutes... they all wanted to get out and play some more! I knew the party was a success when Calvin said, (as we were all huddled together in the car) "This is the BEST birthday ever!" What a good kid!
Even his cousin Ethan came to work on his skills! Cool dude!
We love you, Calvin! Our family wouldn't be the same without you!

This week has been crazy with school starting and we haven't called to thank you for the lego set!!! It was AWSOME! It reminded all my boys how much they love legos and they've had them out everyday since...good break from the WII!!! Sher
I'm glad Calvin had a fun time with his friends and Ethan for his birthday. Happy the clouds passed quickly so the fun wasn't cut short. We are looking forward to his baptism on Saturday!
